The Kitchen Design
Center handles everything from the design to the install. The
following are the steps in this process:
- Together we schedule an
appointment at one of our tow showroom locations. During this
time you'll have the chance to discuss your wants, needs and desires
for your new kitchen. Your vision is extremely important to us
and giving you the kitchen that you desire is what we strive
for. We also discuss your budget and your timeframe. This is a
complementary meeting.
- After the meeting in our
showroom we visit your home. This gives us the chance to view
the overall style of your home, experience first hand how your
family lives. We take pictures of your current kitchen and
take measurements.
- When we have completed the
design we send it to you via email with color renderings of your new
kitchen for your review and comment.
- We schedule a meeting at our
showroom and work together on the layout. We review each
cabinet down to how many roll out shelves are included. We can
change whatever cabinets you would like. If you would prefer a
four drawers instead of three we can make the change right there.
- It is during this time we
discuss your appliances, countertops and flooring options. We
partner with Filco Discount Appliance, Vintage Interiors and several
countertop fabricators to assist you in this part of the
remodel. We have programs that can show you how your cabinet
finish looks on different door styles. We can change the
handles to give the cabinets a totally different look as well as the
edge profile. This helps you envision exactly what your
new kitchen will look like.
- If you are working with a
contractor or building a new home we will meet with the contractors
and review the details of your kitchen.
- The Cabinets are ordered and
take approximately four (4) to five (5) weeks. We notify you
within 10 days via email the expected week of delivery. We
remind you that the cabinets will be delivered into your
garage.
- We are onsite for the delivery
and unbox and check each cabinet to be sure there is nothing that
would stop the install. Once we complete this step we schedule
the demo (if you have a current kitchen) and the install.
- Our part of the process takes
two to three days. Then you are ready for templeting for your
new countertop.
